Packing & Jointing Materials
Sealing materials for vessels at the Panama Canal.
Compressed fibre gaskets, PTFE sheet, spiral wound gaskets, braided packing, and jointing compounds. Correct grade for every service. 24-hour RFQ response.
Packing & Jointing Types
Sealing solutions for every marine application.
We supply packing and jointing materials across the full range of vessel applications — from routine maintenance gaskets to high-temperature spiral wound joints for steam systems. Every product is sourced from certified manufacturers in the correct grade and specification.
Compressed Fibre Gaskets
Non-asbestos compressed fibre sheet and cut gaskets for flanged joints in engine rooms, pipework, and heat exchangers. Graphite, aramid, and cellulose fibre grades.
PTFE Sheet & Tape
Virgin and expanded PTFE sheet, tape, and envelope gaskets for chemical resistance applications, valve seats, and sanitary pipework.
Spiral Wound Gaskets
Stainless steel and graphite spiral wound gaskets for high-temperature, high-pressure flanged joints in steam lines, boilers, and exhaust systems.
Metallic & Semi-Metallic Gaskets
Ring joint (RTJ), kammprofile, and corrugated metal gaskets for critical high-pressure joints on cargo and propulsion systems.
Braided Gland Packing
Graphite, PTFE, and synthetic fibre braided packing for pump glands, valve stems, and shaft seals. Marine-grade constructions for seawater and oil service.
Jointing Compounds & Sealants
Anaerobic thread sealants, flange sealants, RTV silicone compounds, and pipe jointing compounds for leak-free connections in all marine service conditions.
O-Rings & Elastomeric Seals
Nitrile (NBR), Viton (FKM), EPDM, and silicone O-rings, square rings, and lip seals for hydraulic, pneumatic, and seawater service.
Expansion Joints & Flexible Connections
Rubber and PTFE expansion joints, flexible hose assemblies, and bellows for vibration isolation and thermal expansion in engine room pipework.
Material Grades
Correct material grade for every service condition.
Gasket and packing selection is determined by temperature, pressure, service medium, and the mating flange material. Including these parameters in your RFQ allows our team to specify the correct grade — not simply the nearest available stock.
Graphite (expanded)
High-temperature steam, exhaust, and corrosive media — preferred for critical joints
Aramid Fibre (Kevlar)
High-pressure general service; good chemical resistance
PTFE (Virgin)
Chemical resistance; food-grade and pharmaceutical service
Nitrile (NBR)
Petroleum and oil service; standard marine elastomer
Viton (FKM)
High-temperature and aggressive media; hydraulic and fuel service
Stainless Steel 316
Spiral wound and metallic gasket winding material
Standards & Approvals
Supplied to specification.
Class surveyors and PSC inspectors may require documentation showing that jointing materials meet the relevant standard for the service. Our team can provide product data sheets and certificates on request.

Trusted Manufacturers
Original sealing products. No substitutes.
We source packing and jointing materials from manufacturers with established marine track records. Every product is original and supplied with full traceability.
Panama Canal Context
Gasket failures don't wait for a convenient port.
Leaking joints and blown gaskets are among the most common causes of unplanned engine room work during or after a Canal transit. With vessels anchored at Cristóbal or Balboa waiting for their transit slot, time on the water is operational time — and stores need to arrive before the vessel moves.
Atlantic EEE Supply maintains stock of commonly requested packing and jointing materials at both the Atlantic (Colón) and Pacific (Panama City) offices. Short-notice RFQs for gaskets, braided packing, and jointing compounds are handled as priority orders, with confirmed availability and delivery timing communicated within hours.
Specify the Joint Clearly
Include flange rating (PN/ASME class), nominal bore (DN/NPS), service medium, operating temperature and pressure. This allows us to quote the correct gasket grade without back-and-forth delays.
Sheet or Cut Gaskets
For standard flanged joints, we can supply full sheets for onboard cutting, or supply pre-cut gaskets to your dimension drawings. Both options are available depending on urgency and vessel equipment.
24-Hour Quotation Response
All packing and jointing RFQs receive a confirmed quotation within 24 hours, with stock availability and realistic delivery time to your vessel at Colón, Cristóbal, or Balboa.
